I'm planning to upgrade my RAM and currently have 16GB (2x8GB). I'm considering getting more RAM, specifically looking at two options: I could buy two additional 8GB sticks for a total cost of 200 euros, or I could go for one 32GB stick for just 110 euros. I've heard that using three sticks of RAM isn't ideal. What's the best option here? Is it worth it to go for the single 32GB stick given the price difference?

I'd suggest going for the 32GB stick and just running with three RAM sticks for now. It's a good deal, and unless you're running a super specific workload that requires it, you probably won't notice any performance drops. Plus, putting that extra cash toward a larger single stick makes sense if you're not planning on selling your old sticks. Just make sure your motherboard can support that setup!
If you don't think you can sell your old RAM, just keep it. Using three sticks usually isn't recommended for maximum stability, but if it works fine for you, then go ahead and use what you have. You'll still see a decent boost in memory, and it saves you some cash.
