How Can I Properly Support My GPU Without Causing Damage?

Hey everyone! I recently built my first PC and noticed that my GPU looks a little slanted after just a few days. I found out that GPU sag is a common issue, so I bought a metal support for it. I tried to touch the GPU gently to see how loose it was, but I got nervous I might break something. Now I'm confused about how much pressure the support should apply. Am I worrying too much about this? How delicate is a GPU really?

If you're worried about too much pressure, remember that these supports are designed to be friendly with GPUs. They should keep your GPU stable without forcing it up. Just make sure it’s snug and you’re good to go!

You're right to think about the support! The metal brace should actually just rest under the GPU without pushing it upwards too much. Think of it as a pedestal rather than a jack lifting a car. If the support is adjustable, that's even better because you can tweak it to just the right height.

Just enough pressure to support it is key. You can even get creative; I've seen people use things like Lego bricks or models to add support in a fun way!
