Hey everyone! I've been dealing with these really annoying invisible pop-up ads while browsing on Chrome. I already have 'Ad-block' and 'Pop-up blocker' enabled, but I still encounter a layer that covers my entire screen. It's super frustrating because when I try to click on the play button for videos, the cursor doesn't change like it normally would, and I end up clicking multiple times before I can get to the actual content. It's like a 10-15 second delay of constant ad windows opening, and I'm just looking for a way to eliminate this issue. Any help would be appreciated!

Honestly, the best advice I can give you is to avoid those sketchy websites altogether. Sometimes the problem is simply the source you're visiting. If that's not an option or these ads keep sneaking in while you're browsing, you might want to consider switching browsers. AdBlock is just not what it used to be, and Chrome has made it harder for extensions to do their job. Try using Firefox with uBlock Origin instead; it's been a game changer for many.
You can still get uBlock Origin on Chrome-based browsers, just not from the extension store. Check out the uBlock Origin website for it. Also, disabling JavaScript isn’t really necessary; instead, try using NoScript and just whitelist websites that you trust. Much safer!.
