Why is my RAM showing a lower speed in CPU-Z?

I just set up my new computer build with 64GB of Corsair Vengeance RAM rated at 6400MHz, and I have DOCP enabled. However, CPU-Z is showing that the RAM is only operating at 600MHz. I'm using an AMD 9800X3D CPU and an Asus X870 Max Gaming Plus Wi-Fi motherboard. Any ideas on why it's showing this lower speed?

It seems you might have switched from DOCP to DOCP TWEAK, which should help the RAM function correctly. Glad you got it working! Just keep monitoring it through CPU-Z to make sure it stays at the right speed after any future adjustments.

It sounds like your RAM might be running slower than it should, which can happen sometimes. I'd recommend first checking your BIOS settings. When you enter BIOS, it usually auto-selects the correct speed for your RAM. You might find some helpful videos on YouTube that show how to navigate and do this. It’s a pretty simple fix!

I'll give that a shot, thanks for the tip!

Definitely verify what your RAM is running at, and make sure you’re using a trusted source for tools like CPU-Z to avoid any malware. If it’s still not at the right speed, you might need to manually adjust the settings in your BIOS. Just ensure you're careful in there!
