I've been noticing that whenever I launch any game, even the less demanding ones, my power supply unit (PSU) goes into overdrive and the fans run at 100%. This continues even after I close the game, and the only way to fix it is to completely power off my PC and turn it back on. Restarting doesn't help at all. I've checked all the temperatures and they seem fine, and there's no dust buildup in the system. I figured it might be a sensor issue, so I bought a new PSU, but I'm still facing the same problem. Here are my specs: Msi Mag A650BN PSU, Ryzen 5 3600 CPU, Gigabyte B450M DS3H-CF Motherboard, RTX 2060 GPU, and HyperX DDR4 Predator 16GB Memory with two SSDs.

Having the same problem with two different PSUs really is strange! If both PSUs should slow down when running cool and they’re not, maybe there’s an issue with your motherboard or how it communicates with the PSU. Have you checked for any settings in BIOS that might affect fan speeds?
It sounds like an airflow issue to me. Are the fans getting enough space and not blocked by anything? Sometimes, if they're obstructed, they might run at max speed despite the temps being fine. It's a straightforward thing, but you wouldn't believe how often people miss it!
Yeah, I made sure there’s plenty of space around the fans. I can’t see anything blocking them, which is why this whole thing is so frustrating!
I haven't checked the BIOS settings yet. I'll give that a try and see if there's an option for fan control. Thanks for the tip!
