About two months ago, I wanted to renew my SAA-C03 certification before the deadline at the end of December 2025. I obtained the SAA when I worked for ABCXYZ company, which is an AWS Partner, and they had advised us to link our personal email addresses to our certification accounts to ensure access if we left the company. I thought that was a smart move. When I logged into my certification account using my personal email, I found that my builder ID account is now merged in, which is fine since I have the congrats email for my certification at this address. However, I can't find my SAA-C03 certification listed anymore and noticed that there's a new candidate ID associated with my account. I had been hoping to use the 50% benefits tied to my old candidate ID. I've contacted support via email with all relevant details, including my candidate IDs and Credly badge URL, but I haven't received any response yet. My attempts to reach out through the AWS training support site have also led to no resolution. With only about 12 days left, I'm feeling concerned about whether I can fix this and schedule my exam. What should I do next? Is it possible to take the exam with the new candidate ID and merge the accounts later? Thanks for any help!

I had a similar issue a while back! In my experience, it can take a while to hear back from them through email. If you’re in a time crunch, I second the live chat suggestion. Another option is to see if you can reach out to AWS on social media; sometimes they respond faster there. As for the new candidate ID, you should be able to take the exam, and then just highlight the merge issue when you talk to support afterward. Hang in there!
Hey there! Sorry to hear about the trouble with your certification accounts. It's definitely frustrating not getting responses from support. Since you’re on a tight deadline, I recommend trying to reach out to AWS support directly through their live chat if available. They might be able to expedite your case. As for your question about taking the exam with the new candidate ID, that's usually possible, but I'd check with support first to avoid any complications with merging later. Good luck!
Thanks for the advice! I’ll try the live chat and see if they can help me quicker.

I appreciate the insight! I’ll give that a try and hope it works out soon.
