Can I Use One Wi-Fi Network While Hosting Another on My PC?

I've been trying to use Iriun VR to connect my phone as a VR headset, but it keeps lagging because it connects over Wi-Fi. I'm wondering if there's a way to have my PC use my home Wi-Fi for internet access while also creating a separate Wi-Fi network for my phone to connect to. Is this even possible?

Honestly, I've found that Iriun VR isn't the best option for a smooth experience. Most phones only output via USB-C, so they're usually relying on Wi-Fi for the connection, which can lag a lot. It might help to know what kind of phone you have so others can offer advice on options. Maybe a wired setup could work better for you?

If your PC has two Wi-Fi cards, you might be able to do this! You could connect one to your home Wi-Fi for internet and use the other to create a hotspot for your phone. Just check your network settings to see if this configuration is supported.
