I'm searching for a compact uninterruptible power supply (UPS) that includes WiFi connectivity so I can monitor its status remotely. I currently own three SMT3000RM2U models that have served me well, especially since I just added network cards to them for event monitoring and data access.
I have a variety of smaller devices that need support in the range of 650-1000 VA, like hotspots and bridges, but the existing APC Back-UPS BVN650M1 units I have lack network features. I'm open to recommendations for any small UPS that has a network port or, preferably, WiFi access.

Could you maybe just monitor the IP address and get alerts if it goes down? Just a thought!
I've heard of the AVR750UNC model; you could check that one too!
Consider looking into NUT (Network UPS Tools) and check which UPS models they support. You might even be able to use a Raspberry Pi Zero W for each UPS for monitoring, which could get you the WiFi capability you want.
For smaller setups, I recommend the CyberPower OR500LCDRM1U or OR700LCDRM1U with the RMCARD205. They may not be APCs, but I've had good performance from them for over two years at remote sites, and you can monitor them using SNMP, which is super handy! They might be a bit pricier, though.
From my experience, most UPS systems under 1,000 VA don’t come with network connectivity, especially WiFi. The simpler models might allow USB connections to a computer, which can then relay information to a monitoring program. It can be a bit of a hassle if you’re managing multiple devices.
I've noticed that adding network capabilities to smaller UPS units often costs as much as the UPS itself. A common alternative is to use a Raspberry Pi with Network UPS Tools (NUT) for monitoring. It might require a bit more setup, though.

True, but for that you'd need the UPS to have a network card, which I'm trying to find for the entry-level units. It can be tough to justify the cost of a network management card for those smaller UPS models.
