I recently built my first PC in August, and it has a 5060 Ti with 16GB of VRAM. I'm looking to upgrade my GPU and I'm torn between the 5070 Ti and the 5080. Here's the pricing info from Mexico:
- 5070 Ti PYN OC Triple Fan: ~950 USD
- 5080 PYN Epic-X ARGB OC Triple Fan: ~1455 USD
There's about a $505 difference between the two options. My setup includes a Ryzen 5 7600X and an 850W PSU, and I typically game at 1440p. What's your opinion on which GPU I should go for? Thanks in advance for any advice!

Definitely go with the 5070 Ti. You're simply not getting an extra $500 worth of performance benefit from the 5080. It’s the smarter choice in terms of value.
If you’re okay with doing some overclocking, the 5080 can reach impressive clock speeds. However, considering the price, the 5070 Ti is the better deal for now.
Just get the 5070 Ti. The price gap is way too significant for what you’re getting with the 5080.
I'd lean towards the 5070 Ti. The 5080 is roughly 15% faster, but that performance doesn't seem to justify the steep price difference. The 5070 Ti will handle 1440p gaming quite well on your setup.
Totally agree! That $500 could be better spent elsewhere, especially since the 5070 Ti should give you a great gaming experience.

Exactly! A 5070 Ti will handle 1440p Ultra settings like a champ, and it’s likely to remain strong for years.
