What Should I Do If My PC Is Overrun with Malware?

My computer seems completely taken over by malware. The CPU usage is always above 80% when I check the task manager, and I can't access any of my browsers properly. Despite changing the settings, Chrome, Firefox, and Microsoft Edge keep redirecting me to strange sites, and there's a persistent Chrome extension I can't get rid of. My task manager now shows a clutter of unfamiliar files and settings that were never there before. I've tried various antivirus programs to fix this, but none have made a difference, and I really can't afford premium subscriptions right now. I'm hoping someone can recommend some legitimate resources or tricks to help me resolve this.

Honestly, if it's that bad, a clean install of Windows is probably your best bet. Just back up your important files but make sure you avoid anything executable. You'll need a USB stick with at least 8GB to do this, so look up the Windows USB creation tool to get started. Also, consider tightening up your browsing habits to prevent this from happening again!

Definitely! Just get that fresh install done and you'll be much safer. Also, consider using a password manager like Bitwarden to keep your accounts secure from now on.
