Hey everyone! I'm looking to build a new PC and I've come across a deal for a Palit RTX 3090 with 24GB of VRAM. Do you think it's still a good purchase in 2025? What do you all think about its value for gaming versus other potential uses? Thanks!

The RTX 3090 is decent for AI tasks thanks to its high VRAM, but for gaming, it's been outperformed by newer cards like the RTX 5070. So it really depends on what you need it for.
I still use my 3090 and it handles everything well, but if you're just gaming, I'd recommend checking out the RTX 5070 Ti, which usually offers better performance and efficiency for a similar price.
Honestly, it boils down to what you plan to do with it and the price. If you can get it for under $750, that's a decent deal, but I'd lean towards a 5070 or 9070 for gaming if prices are the same.
I'd say it depends mainly on the price. If you can grab it for around $600, it's worth considering due to the amount of VRAM. But if you can find a 5070 for a similar price, go for that instead!
If you need that much VRAM for productivity or AI work, the 3090 is great. For gaming, though, you're better off with a 5070 or 9070, which can outperform it at lower prices.
