How can I boot Arch Linux from an SD card on my old Chromebook?

I'm trying to get Arch Linux running from an SD card on my old Chromebook since it's no longer receiving updates. I have the Arch ISO stored on my internal storage, and I need guidance on how to 'flash' it to the SD card without messing up or bricking ChromeOS. Any tips would be greatly appreciated!

Check out some guides or forums on migrating to Linux. It's really helpful! Just a heads up, Arch can be pretty complex for beginners, so you might want to consider easier distros like Ubuntu or Mint if you're starting out.

I specifically want to try Arch because it's more hands-on and will help me learn Linux better. I have some coding background, so I think I'll manage.

You'd be better off using a USB thumb drive instead of an SD card for this setup. It tends to be more reliable for booting Linux.
