I can confidently say you don’t need math for basic coding tasks. I rarely use it when I'm developing!

While you don’t need to understand complex algorithms to do full-stack development, knowing some math is beneficial for sharpening your logic and problem-solving skills. Just spending a little time on it each day can help.

It's a bit nuanced. If you're just doing general web development, math isn’t a big deal. However, if you're diving into custom visualizations or aspects like WebGL, then some math knowledge becomes important, especially geometry.

I've been a full-stack developer for over 20 years and I’ve struggled with math throughout my life. You really just need basic arithmetic and algebra skills. Some areas like game development might need more advanced math, but for web development, you can get by with just the basics.
