I'm about to build my first PC and have almost everything I need, but I'm still waiting on a CPU cooler, a monitor, and a GPU. The cooler and monitor are set to arrive later this month. Should I go ahead and start assembling the motherboard and other components, or is it better to wait? If I can start, should I install the CPU before I get the cooler, and what about the motherboard and wiring the fans? How about the PSU? Any advice would be appreciated!

Honestly, you can start building whenever you feel ready. It's more about your preference than anything else.
I wouldn't recommend starting until you have everything you need. Why rush it? It might be better to wait. And trust me, watching a good bench test video can really help you understand the process better. I found a great one that breaks things down for beginners; you might want to check it out before diving in!
You should at least have the PSU before you start anything. You can leave your setup plugged in but turned off; it helps to ground yourself while working, too. Just some advice!
Yeah, I’ll do that! It seems weird to wait, but I get it.
If I were you, I’d wait until all your parts are in. That way, you don't find yourself with compatibility issues down the line. Building everything at once will save you some headaches!

Thanks! I'll definitely look for those vids before I start. Just want to make sure I'm doing it right!
