Looking for Guidance on Overclocking DDR5 RAM

Hey everyone! I'm new to overclocking RAM and would love some advice from experienced DDR5 users. I've got a kit (2x16) with SK Hynix chips, model KF548C38BBK2-32. Currently, I run it on XMP 3.0 at CL38-38-38 with 1.1V. I've been recommended some settings: 6000MHz at CL34-40-40-96, using 1.35V for VDD/VDDQ and 1.25V for SOC. How likely is this to work for me? Also, do you think a jump from 4800 to 6000 is too much? I'm aiming for a balance between lower latency and increased speed while valuing stability over squeezing out every last bit of performance. Thanks in advance for your help! 😊

Honestly, I think it's very unlikely that your 4800 CL38 RAM will hit 6000 CL34. If it had that capability, it would typically be sold as a higher SKU. I’d suggest managing your expectations.

Yeah, that's kind of what I’ve been thinking too. I’ve seen folks arguing for 6000 speed on other forums, but I think maybe 5200-5400 would be a safer target.

For starting out, I'd recommend heading over to some dedicated overclocking forums. There's a lot of knowledgeable folks there who can give you valuable feedback tailored to your specific setup.
