Hey everyone! I'm looking for some tech advice regarding my new PC build. I want to know if it can handle Escape from Tarkov smoothly or if I need to overclock it a bit. Here's the breakdown of my build:
- **CPU**: AMD Ryzen 9 9950X3D (16 Core, 32 Threads, up to 5.7GHz, AM5 Unlocked)
- **GPU**: Gigabyte GeForce RTX 5070 Ti GAMING OC (16GB)
- **RAM**: Corsair Vengeance RGB (32GB - 2x 16GB DDR5, 6400MHz, C36, AMD EXPO & Intel compatible)
- **Motherboard**: MSI MPG X870E EDGE TI WIFI AM5 ATX
- **PSU**: MSI MPG A1000GS PCIE5 (1000W, 80+ Gold, Fully Modular ATX 3.1)
- **AIO Cooler**: Corsair NAUTILUS 360 RS LCD
- **Extra Fans**: MSI MPG EZ120 ARGB 120mm (3 Pack)
- **SSD**: Samsung 990 EVO Plus (4TB PCIe 5.0/4.0 NVMe M.2)
Any tips or recommendations on BIOS settings or overclocking? Thanks in advance!

After adjusting your BIOS settings, when you go to save and exit, it will show you all the changes you've made. If something seems off, just search online before confirming—that way, you're good to go!
It's too bad you didn't keep your 5090 for this build; that would have been an insane combo!
Yeah, I'm away in Australia now and couldn't take it with me.
You've got a powerful setup! It should run Tarkov like a dream right out of the box. To tweak your performance, just update the BIOS with a USB drive. If your CPU isn't recognized yet, don’t worry—it might just work as is. Make sure to enable EXPO for your RAM in the BIOS; a quick search online will offer guidance on that!
I looked up settings for EXPO, but when I tried it on my last rig, it crashed the system. I'm worried about trying it again.

Thanks for that tip! I had a support guy tell me my issues stemmed from enabling XMP before, and it fried my RAM.
