Is it okay for case fans to run at full speed all the time?

I recently built a new PC, but my motherboard doesn't seem to recognize my case fans since they're connected to a SATA power hub attached to the SYS_FAN header. This setup seems to keep the fans running at maximum speed, and although my system temperatures are fine, I'm wondering if running the fans at full speed 24/7 could lead to any issues down the line? The noise level isn't an issue for me, but I want to ensure there are no potential problems.

There aren't any major issues you should worry about, though the fans may wear out a bit quicker. I'd recommend checking your BIOS to see if there’s an option for a fan curve. I have a similar setup and can switch between a few settings, which has helped a lot with noise.

Honestly, I’m not a fan of constant noise either, but as others pointed out, it's mostly fine aside from potential wear on the fans and collecting more dust. Just ensure you have more intake fans than exhaust for positive air pressure, and clean out the dust every now and then.

I keep mine at full speed too, and it turned into a nice constant hum that my headphones drown out, so it’s not too bad!
