I have around 20 devices at a remote site, and I'm in a bit of a bind. I need the MSI file for ESET Endpoint Antivirus version 9.0.2032.6 because I'm having trouble uninstalling the current installation. The standard uninstall through Programs and Features fails due to the missing MSI—this happened because a previous MSP pushed out an update via Desktop Central. I could use the ESET uninstaller, but it requires booting into Safe Mode, which isn't viable for these remote devices due to WiFi issues and security settings that block Safe Mode. I'm reaching out to see if anyone might have the eea_nt64.msi file available to download. If it doesn't work, I may have to make a site visit to address this manually.

About the ESET uninstaller needing Safe Mode—I've had some luck using tools that let you execute commands in a SYSTEM context. It’s worked for removing stubborn antivirus software in the past, though your experience might differ.
I’m on mobile right now, but there's a decent chance we have that MSI in our install archive. I’ll check when I’m back at my desktop. Don't hold your breath, though!
Thanks for looking! I’d be shocked if it worked out, but I want to explore all options before deciding to reset all those devices.
What OS are you running? You might be able to use the latest installer to do an upgrade, which could help you uninstall later if needed. You can select version 9 from the 'choose other product version' option.
Unfortunately, I checked, and upgrades seem to prompt for the original MSI, which leads to failure. I’ve gone through all the laptops across our sites to find if the MSI is cached anywhere, but no luck so far.

I’ve already tried that with ScreenConnect Backstage, which operates in the SYSTEM context. I'll give it another shot and see if there are different parameters I can use to avoid Safe Mode.
