Looking to Upgrade My PC on a Budget: Suggestions Needed

I'm considering an upgrade for my PC, which currently includes an I511600kf processor, RTX 3060 GPU, and 16GB of DDR4 RAM (3200MHz). I also have a 650W 80+ Silver Corsair PSU. My thoughts are to upgrade to a 12th-gen Intel CPU like the i9-12900k/kf, find a B560 motherboard, and grab a couple more sticks of Corsair Vengeance RAM (3200MHz), potentially second-hand for about $40 each to boost my total RAM to 32GB. I'm on a pretty tight budget, hoping to keep my total spend around 600-700 CAD (roughly 600 USD). I built my PC in January 2022 and mainly use it for coding and gaming, including titles like Marvel Rivals and Valorant, but I sometimes experience dips in FPS, especially in Marvel Rivals. I'm wondering if this upgrade is worth it or if I should hold off and save for something better like AM5. I also don't plan to upgrade my GPU for at least another couple of years. Any advice would be much appreciated!

You might want to consider looking for a DDR4-compatible LGA 1700 motherboard instead of sticking with B560. If you can find a solid one for a good price, upgrading to a 14th-gen Intel like 14700k could give you better performance without breaking the bank. Just something to keep in mind!

Would a B560 from Gigabyte still work well for me? Thanks for the suggestion!
