I recently upgraded my entire PC setup, except for the case, and got a new AOC Gaming Monitor CQ32G4 VE. It's a 32-inch monitor with a refresh rate of 180 Hz and a response time of 0.5 ms. My GPU is the 9070ti Mercury, but I'm only able to select a refresh rate of 144 Hz in the Windows settings. I only see an HDMI port on my GPU and I'm not very familiar with PCs, so I'm unsure how to set it up to achieve the full 180 Hz. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

It sounds like you might have the wrong connection type. Your GPU should actually have DisplayPort outputs, which are necessary for reaching that full 180 Hz refresh rate. Check the back of your PC to see if you can find a DisplayPort connector. Also, make sure you read your monitor's manual for the specific requirements, as many monitors only support higher refresh rates through DisplayPort.
You're right about having to use DisplayPort. Your RX 9070 XT is equipped with them, so just grab a DP cable and connect it to the monitor. This should allow you to take full advantage of the monitor's refresh rate.
Don’t forget to check that you’re connecting to the GPU's ports, not the motherboard outputs. The 9070ti Mercury has three DisplayPort 2.1 connectors and one HDMI, so make sure you're plugging into the right spot to get that 180 Hz!

Exactly! If you check your manual (page 25), it will clarify that HDMI connections limit you to 144 Hz, while DisplayPort lets you hit that 180 Hz mark.
