I've noticed some strange activity in my YouTube history. Over the past couple of nights, there are videos appearing that I definitely didn't watch. These videos are mainly long ones, between 45 minutes to almost 2 hours, and they show up as fully watched. One of them is a live stream. I've already taken some precautions: I removed any unfamiliar devices from my Google account, reset my password, and have two-factor authentication set up with two recovery emails and phone numbers. I get a prompt on my phone for any sign-in attempts, so I thought I was covered. I'm a bit stumped here; could it be that someone is using my account just to boost views on random Minecraft or Roblox videos? All my other accounts are fine, and I'm not subscribed to anything sketchy. Is there a way to contact YouTube about this? I'm genuinely worried I've been hacked, even though I've changed my password!

YouTube has this weird feature where if you hover over a video, it can count as a view and end up in your history, even if you don't actually click on it. That might explain why videos you didn’t watch are showing up!
Honestly, the best way to get help is through Google or YouTube support directly. You won’t find much through forums since they don’t handle account issues here. If you're wondering about their support email, I can’t seem to find a reliable one either, their bots are pretty unhelpful.
Maybe you logged into your YouTube account on a hotel TV or someone else's device and forgot to log out? That might explain it if you're seeing random videos that aren’t your typical choices.
Have you been browsing the Shorts feature? I’ve noticed that sometimes it throws in random videos, including some long ones after a bit of scrolling. It's definitely possible those popped up that way.
Yeah, I’ve noticed that too! They seem to sneak in random livestreams every now and then, and some end up showing as full videos.

I get what you mean! It's frustrating trying to sift through their support options. I’ll keep looking for a good contact option.
