I'm experiencing a frustrating issue with my first PC build. After casing my Alienware R14 a couple of days ago, I swapped out the RAM, CPU, and GPU. Everything seemed fine initially, but now I can't get any display output (no POST). I've tried a lot of troubleshooting steps: reseated the RAM, confirmed all connections are secure, removed the CMOS, performed a BIOS flashback, tested with one RAM stick, and reseated the CPU while checking for bent pins. I'm using HDMI from the GPU and also attempted DisplayPort but to no avail.
I even sent my MSI motherboard for a check and replaced it with a Gigabyte, but I'm still facing the same issue. Could it be that my CPU and GPU being from an Alienware are causing compatibility issues? Is there something in the Alienware BIOS that needs to be adjusted? The case doesn't have any shorts; it's set up for mATX and nothing is interfering with the motherboard. For reference, my build consists of:
- AMD 6900 XT
- Ryzen 7 5800
- Corsair LPX 2x16/3600MHz
- Crucial P310 1TB m.2
- 850W MSI PSU
- Gigabyte B550M G X WiFi

I remember having a similar issue! My MSI board had debug lights, but my new Gigabyte doesn't. After reseating RAM, I noticed a DRAM light that shifted to the CPU after more adjustments. I do have a jumper on this motherboard if that helps.
Have you checked the power button? Sometimes jumping the power switch from the motherboard can help. Also, make sure your PSU is functioning properly by testing the 24-pin connector with a multimeter or jumpstarting it. Does your new motherboard have any debug LEDs? They can offer valuable troubleshooting info.
