Why Won’t My PC Load Websites on 5G WiFi?

I've been having this annoying issue where my PC won't load any websites when I'm connected to my 5G WiFi. The browser keeps saying something like 'Hmm... can't reach this page.' However, when I switch over to my mum's 4G network, everything works fine. I'm not very tech-savvy, so any clear explanations would be super helpful! By the way, I did use a USB cable to tether my phone as a workaround, but I'd love to hear any advice you have on fixing the WiFi issue.

You might want to explore your router settings a bit more. It sounds like maybe it’s not optimally set up for your device. Since you mentioned realizing there’s a difference between 2.4GHz and 5GHz, try switching your PC's connection to the 2.4GHz band. It can sometimes offer better compatibility with various devices.

First off, check if your mobile data plan is still active. Sometimes, being on 5G means you're limited by your data usage, even if it's labeled unlimited. If everything is good there, it might be a setting on your router. Don't forget about the frequency bands! 5G typically uses the 2.4GHz and 5GHz bands for faster speeds, so make sure your PC is properly connected to the right band.
