I recently built my first PC and made the mistake of installing my GPU in the lowest PCIE slot on my ASRock B650M Pro RS motherboard. I noticed my games were utilizing the integrated graphics instead, resulting in laggy performance. When I moved the GPU to the PCIE 1 slot, it doesn't seem to power on at all—no fan activity or detection by my system. Interestingly, the GPU works in the PCIE 2 slot, but it's limited as nothing recognizes it as a functional device. What can I do to get my GPU powered and running in the PCIE 1 slot?

Have you checked if your PCIE 1 slot is faulty? Sometimes the slots can have issues that aren’t immediately visible.

I don't think that's the case. I looked it over and everything seems normal. I’ve also made sure all the cables are properly connected to both the GPU and the power supply. It's just that specific slot that's not powering the GPU.
