I'm looking for backup solutions for a small business client that needs to cover their entire Office 365 environment. This includes Exchange Online, OneDrive, SharePoint Online, and Teams, with features like permissions, calendars, and mailbox rules. They specifically want a solution that can fully restore user accounts, preferably allowing exports from these services outside of Office 365 as well—like converting Exchange Online data to PST files. They're open to both on-prem and cloud solutions, although they have limited bandwidth for upstream and don't have a lot of on-prem servers. Cost is also a consideration. Any recommendations?

Idrive has it all figured out. Great pricing and it works well for backups, definitely worth checking out!
Have you thought about using the native Microsoft 365 Backup solution? It might fit your needs without any additional complexity.
I used Dropsuite a few years back, and it did a great job then, so it's probably still a solid option now. Plus, I've heard good feedback from others who use it.
Druva has been solid for managing around 1200 users and a bunch of VMs. It might be a strong contender if you have that many accounts to consider.
We've had a positive experience with Dropsuite as well. It's been reliable for our backups!

I'll look into that! It sounds like a straightforward option for sure.
