I'm planning to build a PC and need some advice on choosing a graphics card. My budget for the GPU is around $591, and I'm considering either the RTX 5060 Ti with 16GB or the RX 9060 XT with 16GB. I have a Ryzen 5 7500F processor, and my total budget for the build is $1,182. Can anyone recommend which graphics card is better for 2K gaming, or suggest a good overall PC build within my budget?

Honestly, the 9060 XT is more efficient for the price, but if you plan to go high-end gaming with ray tracing, the 5060 Ti is better—just not by a huge margin. It's mostly 5-10% better in performance, but that can matter for some games.

For your total budget with the Ryzen 5, both cards are decent choices. But if you're not into ray tracing, definitely lean towards the RX 9060 XT for the better value. You could save about $60–$80, which you could invest elsewhere—maybe a faster SSD or some good DDR5 RAM.

True! Plus, with the savings, you could upgrade other parts of your build instead of just focusing on the GPU.

The RTX 5060 Ti is considered the better option, especially due to its superior ray tracing capabilities. If that matters to you, it’s a solid pick. However, the RX 9060 XT offers good performance at a significantly lower price—around $349 compared to the 5060 Ti's $429. It really depends on whether you prioritize raw power or value for money.

That’s a great breakdown! If gaming is mostly standard without ray tracing, the 9060 XT's value can't be overlooked.

In terms of just raw power, the 5060 Ti wins, but if you're tight on budget, the RX 9060 XT is definitely the smart pick without sacrificing too much performance.

If you're willing to wait, I suggest keeping an eye out for sales on the RTX 5070 or RX 9070. They often drop to around $550-$600 and would give you a much better 1440p experience than the 60 series cards.
