I recently bought an AV Access iDock P10 to seamlessly switch between my gaming PC and work laptop using the same peripherals. My goal was to connect them to a 4K 60Hz display, but unfortunately, the display is only showing 30Hz. The KVM switch is advertised to support 60Hz, which makes this frustrating. I've already tried two different DisplayPort cables without success. I'm aware that the type of USB-C port on my laptop can affect this, but I haven't tested that yet. I'm connecting via DisplayPort from my desktop to the switch, and then using HDMI from the switch to my monitor. Does anyone have any suggestions before I decide to return this device?

Oh man, I feel your pain! I had a similar issue. I swapped my HDMI cable directly from the GPU to the monitor and was still stuck at 30Hz. Turned out the HDMI cable I was using wasn't the right one. Maybe try finding a better quality HDMI cable and see if that helps. Happy Holidays!
I checked out the product and it's supposed to handle 60Hz. Did you check if you're using the right settings on your monitor? Sometimes, you need to manually set it to 60Hz in the display settings. Also, can you confirm which specific model of LG monitor you have?
Are you using any adapters to convert DisplayPort to HDMI? If you are, make sure that adapter is rated for HDMI 2.0 speeds. Otherwise, it might be causing the cap at 30Hz. But if you're going DP straight to the KVM and then HDMI to your monitor, that shouldn't be an issue.
No adapter, it's just DP into the KVM and HDMI out of the KVM into my monitor.

Yes, that is the switch. It's connected to my LG 4K 60Hz monitor.
