Why isn’t my PC displaying anything after a shutdown?

My computer shut down, most likely due to overheating or the power supply not providing enough power. I was overclocking it when this happened, and now my graphics card isn't displaying anything. The display only works when I connect it to the integrated GPU. Any ideas on how to fix this?

It sounds like your GPU may have been fried from the overclocking. That's a common issue. You might want to check if it's seated properly in the PCIe slot and ensure your PSU is sufficient for your system.

Yeah, overclocking can definitely cause damage if things heat up too much. Just keep an eye on your temps next time!

Make sure to check your specs too. What brand and model is your PSU? Also, what GPU and CPU are you working with? That info can really help troubleshoot the issue.

I have an Asrock H570 motherboard, Intel i7 10700 CPU, and a 9070 XT GPU with 32 GB of Corsair 2666 RAM.

Since you mentioned moving the GPU to another PCIe slot, that's a good step! If it's still not recognized, you might need to check the motherboard for any damage or try resetting the BIOS.
