Is a 750W PSU Enough for a 7800X3D and 3080?

I'm about to build a new PC with a 7800X3D CPU and an RTX 3080 GPU, and I'm wondering if my 750W power supply will be enough to handle everything. I know it won't cause any damage, but ideally, I want to avoid having to disassemble everything if I actually need a 1000W supply. Any advice on whether the 750W will cut it, or should I just play it safe and upgrade? Thanks!

750W is on the lower side for that setup. I'd suggest aiming for at least 850W, especially if you have multiple fans or an AIO cooler in your case. A bit more power gives you some breathing room for future upgrades too!

I get what you mean! I have a high-quality 750W PSU and a 3080, with additional external fans too. It might be pushing it a bit, but I'll consider upgrading as well!
