I recently received an Amazon tablet from an online giveaway, but it seems to be missing both the App Store and a web browser. I've already tried factory resetting the device, but nothing has changed. Can anyone help me figure out what's going on?

It sounds like someone might have installed custom firmware on your tablet before you got it. Have you entered any personal info into the device yet? That might be necessary to access the standard features.
I haven’t entered anything. It came just as it is, and I’m pretty new to these tablets.
