Hey everyone! I'm a console gamer with no experience in PC gaming, and I'm looking to make the switch. I have a budget of around $2000 but would love to keep it under $1500 if possible. I'm not sure what components to choose, so if there are any good prebuilt options in my price range, that would be awesome. Any advice or recommendations would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

If you can get to a Microcenter, they often have great bundle deals for RAM, CPU, and motherboards. But if that’s not an option, you might consider some of the prebuilt deals from places like Costco.
Building a PC isn’t as daunting as it sounds! I recommend checking out Linus Tech Tips’ 2025 build guide. It really helped me figure out what parts I wanted.
Exactly! That’s what I did too. I spent $1,600 on parts, and now that they’ve mostly arrived, I’m feeling pretty confident. I watched the video first and plan to watch it again while I build it!
Thanks for the tip!
That Lenovo Legion Tower 5 Gen 10 you mentioned is worth considering, but only if it’s on sale for around $1499. At its regular price of $1880, it’s not a great deal. However, if you can grab it while it’s discounted, it can be a decent mid-tier build with a warranty, which might save you some headache.
Thanks for clarifying! Is there anything specific I should look for when deciding?

Sadly, I don’t have a Microcenter nearby, so I might need to look elsewhere.
