I'm new to Linux and have come across PopOS and Bazzite. I'm not a hardcore gamer but I want to play some AAA titles smoothly and also do video editing. I'm looking for advice on which distro would be better for my needs. I'm really just trying to escape the issues I've been having with Windows 10, especially since my support has ended and I'm not planning on updating. Any help would be appreciated!

If you care about competitive gaming or newer AAA titles, you might find sticking with Windows is a better option. For compatibility, check out ProtonDB to see how well your desired games will run on Linux. Just a heads up, some games with kernel-level anti-cheat won't work on Linux.
Both PopOS and Bazzite can handle your needs pretty well, but it really comes down to personal preference. What software or games are you planning to run? Not everything is compatible with Linux, so that might influence your decision.
Having used both, I found Bazzite to be a bit limiting due to its immutable nature—you can't really change much unless it's through their app store, which can be a downside if you want to install software not listed there. PopOS, on the other hand, has a user-friendly interface similar to MacOS and offers decent customization options. Plus, it’s more accommodating for installing applications beyond what’s available in the app store. I’d recommend going with PopOS if you want a more flexible experience!
