Hey everyone! I'm facing a frustrating network problem on my Windows 11 machine and could really use some assistance. My setup includes an AMD Ryzen 5 3600XT CPU, MPG B550 GAMING EDGE WIFI motherboard, 16 GB of RAM, and an AMD Radeon RX 6700XT GPU.
Since yesterday, I haven't been able to use important applications like Spotify, Discord, and the Steam Store. For instance, when I try to update Google Chrome, it gives me an error: "Fehlercode 7: 0X80072EFE -- system level". Steam throws around Error Codes 101 and 105 and Discord won't update. Spotify seems to open but just keeps loading indefinitely. I can't even access apps in the Microsoft Store.
I've noticed when trying to troubleshoot my network, I repeatedly get a message saying that "The current time on your PC may not be correct", but syncing doesn't seem to change anything. I can still browse the internet and download games on Steam, but not having all apps functioning is really annoying.
I've already tried a couple of commands like 'netsh winsock reset' and 'netsh int ip reset', but nothing has worked so far, even after rebooting.
Does anyone have suggestions or tools that I might use to fix this? Thanks a lot!

Have you checked whether your issues are happening over Ethernet or Wi-Fi? Sometimes switching up the DNS settings can help. If you haven't altered them, they might still be on your ISP's default. A good option is to change your DNS to something like Google's (8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4). Also, make sure your BIOS and chipset drivers are up to date—it can really make a difference! Let me know how it goes!

Thanks for your input! I checked and the issues are present on both Wi-Fi and wired connections. I noticed that no specific DNS was defined, so it’s set to default. I’m thinking about changing it to Google’s DNS. Also, I probably haven’t updated my BIOS since I got the machine. I'll look into that!
