I'm having trouble getting my PC to enter sleep mode. The only way I can do it is by removing Windows Command Processor from the Task Manager. I'm curious about why this is happening and whether it's safe to keep closing Windows Command Processor every time I want my PC to sleep.

That sounds odd! Usually, an app running in the background shouldn't prevent your PC from sleeping. It's worth checking if any settings are preventing sleep, like power options. Have you tried looking into the power settings to ensure everything is configured correctly?
It looks like the Windows Command Processor starts up automatically when your PC boots. CMD refers to Command Prompt, and yes, it's safe to close it if that's what's keeping your sleep function from working. Just be cautious if you’re not sure what it does, and try to get help if needed.
You might want to check if standby mode is enabled. Use PowerShell as an admin and run a few commands to see what options you have. If you're not comfortable doing that, I recommend seeking help from someone who knows their way around a PC.
