Is it a good idea to upgrade my GPU from AMD 6700 to 9060 XT?

I'm considering upgrading my current GPU from an AMD 6700 XFX 10GB, which I bought in 2022, to an AMD 9060 XT 16GB OC. I do a lot of streaming on TikTok and record gameplay, but I've noticed significant FPS drops while playing BF6 on ultra settings while streaming. Most other games run fine, though. With GPU prices expected to rise in 2026, I think getting the 9060 for £330 in the UK is a smart move. Should I also sell my 6700?

If you're looking to avoid frequent upgrades, you might want to consider going for the 9070 XT instead of the 9060 XT. It could offer better long-term performance. Also, with AMD dropping support for the 6000 series, upgrading now might be wise.

Absolutely yes! The 9060 XT is a solid upgrade and should help improve your streaming experience significantly. If your current setup is struggling with games like BF6, you’ll definitely notice a difference.
