Upgraded My GPU to a 9070 XT and Now There’s No Display Signal, Help!

I recently upgraded my graphics card from an RTX 4060 to an RX 9070 XT. Whenever I turn on my PC, the monitors show a 'no signal' message and then go to sleep. After reseating the GPU and the RAM, I managed to get a display signal, allowing me to log in and even play some games (with drivers installed). However, when I restarted the PC, the signal disappeared again. I've had to power cycle multiple times before the monitors finally get a signal (I have a dual monitor setup).

Here are my specs:
- CPU: Intel i5-12400F
- GPU: RX 9070 XT Powercolor Hellhound
- Power Supply: 850W Thermaltake Toughpower GT
- Motherboard: ASUS Prime H610M-D D4
- RAM: 16GB DDR4 Kingston

I'm planning to update the BIOS next since it's from 2022, but I'm unsure if that will fix the problem. I might need to reinstall my old 4060 just to do the update. Any suggestions or solutions? This has been quite frustrating!

It sounds like you might be dealing with a driver issue. Have you tried using Display Driver Uninstaller (DDU) to completely remove any remnants of your old display drivers? It can help clear up any bugs that could be causing this problem. Make sure to check out a tutorial on how to use it properly, so you don't mess anything up.

Since you already used DDU for the Nvidia drivers, it might be worth trying to run it again for any AMD drivers that might be hanging around. Sometimes leftover drivers can create conflicts. Good luck!
