I recently started showcasing my work by hosting my own portfolio, but now I'm receiving hateful messages and even death threats through the contact form. This person has used multiple email domains to send me these alarming messages, and it's understandably freaked me out. I've disabled my email service for now. What are some suggestions for dealing with this situation?

You might want to reach out to your web host for help in blocking those messages and checking their logs. If the threats are serious, definitely take those logs to the police.
It sounds like you're dealing with a jealous troll. Just remember that not everyone can handle seeing others succeed. Good on you for putting your work out there! Try your best to shake it off and keep going strong. Be well, my friend!
Honestly, this type of negativity is everywhere on the internet. The best approach is often just to ignore it. Don’t give them the attention they’re seeking.
The best move is to not engage with them. Set up automatic filters to catch emails with keywords associated with their threats and just ignore them. It's probably more hassle than it's worth to respond.
Sounds like a solid plan! I’m currently looking into ways to autoblock those spam domains to protect my limits, so I feel you.
As harsh as it is to say, people can be really mean online. Just filter their messages out based on common phrases, and don’t let it get to you. You're doing something great!
Yeah, I’m definitely leaning towards this being a bot too. I haven’t even shared my link widely yet, so it’s weird they claim I stole their content.
