I'm looking to upgrade from my 3060, and I'm torn between the 5070 OC and the 5070 Ti. The OC is priced at $599.99 and the Ti is at $849.99. Is the extra cost for the Ti worth it, or will the OC be a sufficient upgrade for my needs?

Just to clarify, "OC" stands for overclocked, which doesn't really mean much in terms of actual performance compared to the Ti. The Ti definitely offers a jump in performance that you might appreciate, especially if you're gaming at high settings or resolutions. If budget allows, consider the Ti, but if it's tight, the 5070 OC is still decent.
If you're mainly gaming at 1440p, the 5070 is more than capable. I've been using mine for both 1440 and some 4K with upscaling tech, and it handles it well. But if you need that extra oomph for 4K, definitely check out the Ti.
Honestly, the price for the 5070 Ti seems a bit high at $850. If you can find it for around $750, that would be a better deal. Just remember, the OC is mainly a marketing term – it won’t truly compare to the Ti. If you're looking for performance, save up a bit if you can.
What resolution are you playing at? If it's 4K or you want top frame rates at 1440p, go for the Ti. Otherwise, for regular gaming, the 5070 should be fine, especially for 1440p. You could expect 80-100% more performance going from a 3060 to a 5070, so you're already making a solid upgrade.
The Ti is generally a whole different level in terms of performance. You're looking at about a 25% to 30% difference in gaming performance between the 5070 OC and the Ti. So, if you're aiming for something more powerful, the Ti is the better choice.

Good point! Also, you might want to look at the RX 9070 as another option if you want something different and cheaper.
