I'm looking to build a gaming PC before prices shoot up again, especially for RAM. I previously designed a build with 32GB of RAM but adjusted it to fit my budget of around $1,200. I primarily play shooter games like Rainbow Six Siege and Call of Duty. Since I'm pretty new to this, I'd appreciate any feedback on my parts list before I make a purchase. Here's what I've got so far:
- **CPU:** Intel Core i5-13400F 2.5 GHz 10-Core Processor - $225.01
- **Motherboard:** MSI B760 GAMING PLUS WIFI ATX LGA1700 Motherboard - $204.99
- **Memory:** Crucial Classic 16 GB (2 x 8 GB) DDR5-5600 CL46 Memory - $151.99
- **Storage:** Western Digital WD_BLACK SN7100 1 TB M.2-2280 PCIe 4.0 NVME Solid State Drive - $119.99
- **Video Card:** PowerColor Reaper Radeon RX 9060 XT 16 GB Video Card - $359.99
- **Case:** Phanteks XT PRO ATX Mid Tower Case - $49.99
- **Power Supply:** MSI MAG A650BN 650 W 80+ Bronze Certified ATX Power Supply - $60.34
Total before mail-in rebates: $1,182.30 (after rebates: $1,172.30).

I think you’re on the right track! Just be aware that RAM pricing is volatile, so it might make sense to secure parts quickly. Your choices are pretty balanced for a gaming rig, but if you can stretch your budget a little more, upping your RAM to 32GB could offer better performance for multitasking and gaming down the road. Looking at different RAM speeds and latencies could really help too. Good luck with your build!
You've got a solid selection of parts! The CPU is a decent choice, but the i5-13400F is viewed as a downgrade compared to the i5-12600KF in terms of performance. You might want to consider switching to that if your budget allows.
Also, keep in mind that while 5600 MHz RAM seems good, the latency (CL46) might hold you back compared to lower latency options. Lower latency is better for gaming performance!
As for your GPU, the upgrade would likely yield a substantial increase in FPS, especially in the games you love. Additionally, your PSU is a good standard; just make sure it's reliable. If you're open to suggestions, I've compiled a parts list that could help improve your build further!

Appreciate the feedback! I’m curious, do you think it’s okay to ask for stock availability when buying these parts? I don’t want to miss out on something good.
