What’s the Best Way to Transfer Thousands of Photos from Android to PC Without USB?

I'm looking for a way to transfer my huge collection of photos from my Samsung S21 to my PC for backup. Usually, I would connect my phone via USB and use Windows Explorer, but my USB port is broken now, so that's not an option. Would getting a Bluetooth dongle let me transfer photos via Bluetooth? I also thought about using Google Drive, but uploading all those photos would take ages. Any suggestions would be super helpful!

Check out Resilio Sync! Install it on both your phone and PC, select your photo folder on the phone, and create a folder on your PC for the backup. It syncs over WiFi, so it should be pretty fast depending on your connection.

You could zip your photos into one file and then share that via WhatsApp, Google Drive, or Telegram. That way, you just download the zip file to your PC. It simplifies the transfer process a lot!

If you’re an Amazon Prime member, you can use Amazon Photos to back up your photos for free. They offer unlimited full-quality storage for photos, which could save you a lot of hassle with transfers.

Have you tried using the LocalSend app? It works great for transferring files over WiFi without needing a cable. Just install it on your phone and PC, and you should be good to go!

If you have a Google account, you can use Google Photos. They offer 15GB of free storage, so you could back up your photos there as long as you have internet access. Once they're uploaded, you can download them to your PC by logging in to your account.

This is a great option! Plus, if you go for a paid plan, you only pay monthly, and once everything's uploaded, you can use the 'Takeout' feature to download your photos in a zip file.
