I recently got a new M.2 NVMe SSD and want to copy all the data from my current SSD (they're the same model). I bought an adapter to connect them, but it turned out to be incompatible as I can't even slide my old SSD in. Is it possible to clone the data without having both SSDs connected at the same time? You can definitely create a disk image using cloning software like Macrium Reflect. First, make the image of your old SSD, and then you can write that image to your new drive once it’s connected.
