How Can I Clone My Old SSD to a New One Without Connecting Both at Once?

I recently got a new M.2 NVMe SSD and want to copy all the data from my current SSD (they're the same model). I bought an adapter to connect them, but it turned out to be incompatible as I can't even slide my old SSD in. Is it possible to clone the data without having both SSDs connected at the same time? For example, could I create a restore point on a USB drive or something similar? I really need some guidance on this. By the way, I have a Dell Latitude 5590 running Windows 11.

You can definitely create a disk image using cloning software like Macrium Reflect. First, make the image of your old SSD, and then you can write that image to your new drive once it’s connected. But honestly, if you can, I’d recommend just getting a good external adapter that fits properly. Here’s one that worked for me: [external adapter link].

I ended up buying a new adapter too. Do you know any reliable apps that let you clone SSDs without extra costs?
