Hi everyone! I just built a new PC, mainly to use it as a workstation for my grad studies, but I've been playing a couple of games on it as well. I'm noticing some concerning temperature spikes: my CPU idles around 45°C, but when I start playing BeamNG, it shoots up to 80°C and can peak at 95°C, which is the top limit for safe operation. I usually only get about 10-15 minutes of playtime before it reaches that limit. The same thing happens with Pocket Rogues, although I can manage about 30 minutes because it's a less demanding game. I'm looking for advice on figuring out this overheating issue. Here's my build for reference: [PCPartPicker List](https://pcpartpicker.com/list/ztKdNz).

You should definitely check the thermal paste on your CPU cooler. Sometimes, the protective plastic on the heatsink gets left on or the paste needs a fresh application. If that doesn't work, consider if your case has good airflow; sometimes components heat up the case itself, which can mess with fan efficiency.
It sounds like your GPU might be heating up the case too much, which can affect overall cooling. If things are running well otherwise, and no crashes or thermal shutdowns are occurring, you could be all right. If you're concerned, it might be worth investing in additional fans for better airflow or a more efficient CPU cooler. Just keep an eye on those temps.
No crashes or anything since I turn off the games when it hits 95°C. Should I invest in better fans or a new cooler to be safe?

I just re-applied the thermal paste, but my temps are still high. Got any other suggestions?
