I was messing around in the BIOS and overclocked my RAM, but now I'm facing serious issues. The red CPU light is on, the yellow RAM light is lit, and nothing works—no USB ports, no display. I thought clearing the CMOS would help, but it didn't fix anything. I've swapped RAM sticks, tried just one stick, and even started it with no RAM at all, but nothing changed. I've checked that the CPU power cables are seated correctly as well. The only thing I haven't tried is a BIOS flashback or update. Does anyone have any other suggestions? I'm really stressed about this situation!

If you're on AM5, it might just need some time for the RAM training. If not, definitely do another CMOS battery pull and then try a BIOS update before anything else. You might get lucky!
Honestly, I'm not sure why people push the RAM overclocking so hard. If it’s not DDR5, it’s usually as simple as clicking the XMP profile. All that tweaking for only a few extra frames in games just seems pointless. Anyway, make sure to clear the CMOS, pull the motherboard battery, and do a BIOS update. If none of that works, you might have damaged the CPU connection on your motherboard. Good luck with that!
There's a chance the BIOS is corrupted, so a flashback could help. But if it didn’t work and you got a flashing red light that turned solid, you may be facing a bigger issue.
I had the same situation on an AM4 system. I removed the battery and waited a bit longer, about 15 minutes. Sometimes it just needs that extra time to fully discharge. Try that!
You might want to try resetting the CMOS again. Disconnect the power supply, hold the power button to discharge any caps, and remove the motherboard battery. That should definitely help clear the CMOS properly this time.

I tried the flashback, but it didn’t work as expected. The red light just stayed solid after flashing.
