Hey everyone, I'm having a frustrating issue with the volume on my Thomson TV. Whenever I try to turn it up using the remote, it instantly goes back down. I even took out the batteries from the remote but that didn't solve the problem. Any advice or solutions would be greatly appreciated!

It sounds like your TV might be picking up an infrared signal from somewhere else. Double-check that there's nothing in the way, like an old remote or another device. Also, is there a button stuck on the TV itself? That could cause similar issues.
I don't think there are any physical buttons on the TV, but I'll look again just to be sure.
