Help with RAM Compatibility Issues

I'm currently using an i7-6700k with an MSI Z270-A Pro motherboard. I purchased 32GB of RAM (2x16GB at 3600MHz), but only one module allows my PC to boot properly. I've tried enabling XMP and adjusting the voltage without success. I need advice on whether I chose the wrong RAM and, if so, what RAM would be ideal for achieving 32GB.

Your RAM may not be fully compatible with your motherboard. Here are some suggestions for 32GB options that should work:
- G.SKILL 32GB (2x16GB) TridentZ Series DDR4 3200MHz
- G.SKILL TridentZ Series 32GB (2 x 16GB) DDR4 3200 F4-3200C16D-32GTZSW
- Corsair Vengeance LPX 32GB (2x16GB) DDR4 2666MHz
Make sure to check if your motherboard supports the speed you’re aiming for too!

Thanks for the recommendations! I have tried all 4 RAM slots individually, and each stick boots fine on its own. The issue happens only when both are installed.

Make sure your RAM sticks are in the right slots! They should usually go into slot 1 and 3 or 2 and 4. That’s a common setup for dual-channel configurations. Have you tried switching them around? It can make a difference!

Thanks for the tip! I've tried both configurations, but MSI recommends slots 2 and 4, which I've mainly focused on.

When you say it doesn’t boot with both sticks, do you mean that Windows doesn’t launch, or does nothing really happen? Can you get into BIOS with both sticks?

Apologies for the confusion! I meant that when both sticks are installed, my display, keyboard, and mouse won't turn on, so I can't access BIOS. I can only get into BIOS with one stick.
