How Can I Connect My Nintendo Switch and Soundbar to a Projector?

I recently got a Samsung Freestyle projector that only has one micro HDMI port. I'm trying to figure out how to connect both my Nintendo Switch and a soundbar to it. I know I can use Bluetooth, but I'd prefer to utilize the eARC connection on the soundbar. I've done some research but haven't found much information tailored to my specific setup. Any help would be appreciated!

It really depends on the soundbar you’re using. If you have a Gen 1 Freestyle, it's got eARC capability, but since it only has one HDMI port, it complicates things a bit. If your soundbar doesn’t support HDMI video pass-through and just has an eARC/ARC port, you might need a special HDMI splitter. This splitter would take the HDMI video and audio signal and separate them – sending video to the projector while routing the audio to the soundbar. You can check out options on Amazon.

Alternatively, if your soundbar has an auxiliary input, you could connect your Nintendo Switch directly to the soundbar using a headphone jack or even a USB audio dongle, which could save you some hassle!

I’ve got a Hisense AX5100Q. Would that affect your suggestions?
