What GPU Can I Upgrade to Without Changing My Power Supply?

I'm looking to upgrade my GPU but I want to know how much I can improve with my current power supply. Here are my PC specs: I have an ASUS TUF GAMING B560M-E motherboard, an Intel Core i5-11400 CPU, a WD Blue 7200 rpm 1TB HDD, an MSI Spatium M450 1TB SSD, and a Green GP600A-GED power supply. My RAM is 32GB total (Corsair Vengeance LPX 8GB x2 + 16GB x1) at 3200 MHz. Currently, I'm using an ASUS TUF Gaming GTX 1660 Ti GPU and a 27-inch 75Hz ASUS VA27EHE monitor. I want to know the best GPU I can get with this power supply and if I'll need to upgrade for VR gaming as well.

To really find out what your system can handle, add up the maximum wattage of your CPU and GPU, and then throw in an extra 50-100W for the rest of your components. That’ll give you a good baseline for choosing a new GPU.

A good tip is to use pcpartpicker.com to check compatibility. Just input all your parts and then you can experiment with different GPUs to see how they work with your PSU.

If you want to maximize performance, considering a 5070 Ti or a 9070 XT could be your best bet, but your current power supply might struggle. If you're looking for a reliable upgrade, the 9060 XT or the 5060 Ti make more sense with your CPU in mind.

Since your CPU isn't overclocked, you should have some power to work with. The GPU power estimates account for CPU usage too. For your setup, I'd say that either the RTX 5060 Ti or RX 9060 XT are solid options. Both have a recommended PSU of around 500 watts, so keep that in mind!
