Need Help with My First PC Build for Competitive Fortnite

Hey everyone! I'm about to undertake my first PC build, and I'm really aiming for it to run Fortnite at a stable 240 fps with the lowest settings possible. Graphics aren't my priority; I just want to focus on latency and fps. The catch is, I have zero experience with PCs and have spent the whole day trying to research the best value CPUs and GPUs that will deliver in Fortnite since it's heavily CPU-dependent.

I've sketched out a rough idea of the components I want to use, but I'm honestly worried about whether they're even compatible with each other. I picked a motherboard randomly since I know almost nothing about them!

Here's the link to the parts I've selected: [https://pcpartpicker.com/list/YqngYd](https://pcpartpicker.com/list/YqngYd). It would be amazing if anyone could critique my choices or suggest better options for the CPU, GPU, and even parts like memory and storage that will support them. If this build is a disaster, I'd appreciate the honesty too! Thanks a ton!

I checked out your build, and I think I have a better suggestion for you. Here's a link to a build I put together: [https://pcpartpicker.com/list/rdZTv4](https://pcpartpicker.com/list/rdZTv4). If you opt for cheaper parts like RAM, motherboard, and SSD, you could grab a better CPU and GPU instead! It’s a bit pricier—around $100 more than yours—but if you’re looking to keep it around $1750, consider upgrading to a 7800x3D CPU. Just a heads-up though; if you choose this CPU, you might need to get a decent cooler, and I wouldn't recommend skimping on that.

Thanks for the suggestion! I checked out your link and it looks promising. I might tweak my parts based on your advice.
