I'm trying to get rid of Windows on my laptop, which currently has 6 partitions. Here's what I found:
1. Unknown 134 MB (Microsoft Reserved)
2. NTFS 555 MB (Microsoft Windows Recovery Environment)
3. FAT 104 MB (EFI System)
4. NTFS 281 GB (This is my Windows installation)
5. NTFS 806 MB (Microsoft Windows Recovery Environment, No Automount)
6. ext4 230 GB (This is my Ubuntu installation)
Can someone guide me on which partitions I should remove to completely erase Windows?

Make sure to back up your important files before deleting anything. It's easy to mess up and accidentally delete something crucial. Losing data can be a nightmare!
To completely remove Windows, you can delete partitions 1, 2, 4, and 5. Just be careful with partition 3 because it may contain the EFI loader for Ubuntu, which you’ll need if you want to boot into that operating system later.
Exactly, the EFI partition is important for booting Ubuntu, so you should keep it.

For real, I once deleted a partition and lost all my old memories. A backup is definitely a must!
